What we do, and what we do not claim
A statement of process. It is deliberately free of guarantees, because a guarantee is not something a trading company can honestly give.
Sanctions and export control
Before entering into any transaction, we screen counterparties, their ultimate beneficial owners, vessels and destinations against the restrictive-measures lists of the European Union and the United Nations, and apply the fifty per cent ownership and control rule. Goods are classified against Regulation (EU) 2021/821 on dual-use items, and export licences are obtained from the competent Austrian authority under the Foreign Trade Act 2011 where required.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any transaction on compliance grounds, without liability.
What screening covers
- Legal name, register data and address of the counterparty
- Ultimate beneficial owners, and ownership or control above fifty per cent
- Destination country, consignee, end user and stated end use
- Vessel and carrier where we control the shipment
- Re-screening before each new contract, not once at onboarding
Traceability and fraud prevention
For every consignment we can identify the supplier it came from and the customer it went to, and produce the documents that connect them. Suppliers are qualified in writing before first business. Quantity and quality are determined by an independent inspection company at load port. Records are retained for five years.
We do not blend, relabel or re-origin goods. Where a product's origin cannot be documented to our satisfaction, we do not offer it.
Food and feed safety
Where we place food or feed on the market we act as a food or feed business operator and carry the corresponding duties: own-check procedures appropriate to the activity, supplier verification, and traceability one step back and one step forward under Article 18 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002.
Deforestation Regulation
Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 applies to operators and traders from 30 December 2026, following its amendment by Regulation (EU) 2025/2650. It covers cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soya and wood and products derived from them. Cereals, rice, pulses and dried fruit are not within its scope.
We are preparing for it: identifying which of our lines fall within Annex I, arranging to receive and record due-diligence statement references from upstream operators, and building the supplier and customer records the regulation requires. We make no claim of compliance with a regulation that does not yet apply.
Certifications and registrations
This table is published so that it can be checked. Where a status reads in preparation, it means exactly that: no certificate, no registration number, and no claim based on one.
| Item | Basis | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Companies register entry | FN 661754 v, LG Leoben | Active |
| VAT identification | ATU82659605 | Active |
| Trade licence | Gewerbeordnung 1994 | In preparation |
| Food business registration | Art. 6(2) Reg. (EC) 852/2004 | In preparation |
| Feed business registration | Art. 9 Reg. (EC) 183/2005 | In preparation |

| TRACES operator account | Reg. (EU) 2017/625 | In preparation |
| Voluntary scheme certificate (biofuel feedstock) | Dir. (EU) 2023/2413 | In preparation |
Every certificate we obtain will appear here with its issuer, number, scope and expiry date, and a link to the issuer's public register. Until then this table stays as it is. We would rather publish an empty column than an unverifiable claim.
